Are you looking for compelling MIT photos to help your department’s next communication project? Communication Production Services’ photo library, hosted on Flickr, features students, buildings, labs and campus life, in addition to a collection of historical photos courtesy of the Museum and Libraries Archives. The library provides photographs at no cost for exclusive use by the MIT community in print projects, web communications and social media. The library includes new photos from recent shoots, as well as most of the photos that were on our former Thalia library. Many at MIT are already using Flickr, so the interface will be familiar. Because Flickr provides robust search and tagging features, finding the right image for your project will be quick and easy. And by creating a free Flickr account for your own department, lab or center, you can share your own photos with other Institute communicators. Get started by reviewing our guidelines. We’re always looking for ideas to expand the collection. Keep in touch and tell us how these photos help you tell a great MIT story!
